I thought there two other bills that were aimed at removing the gas tax funding that was allocated to OHV and moving those tax revenues to the general for highway users tax fund.

Did OHV get to keep those funds??

Gss tax

I understand that license fees have been "rescued". What is current status of revenue from gas tax that was being threatened?

AB 159, which passed, keeps the fuel tax funding as it was.

AB 382, which died in the legislature, would have tapped into the $ .12 fuel tax increase that we will be seeing soon. So, it looks like the OFV Trust Fund won't be getting a portion of the fuel tax increase.

Thanks Bruce. Makes more sense after checking out Section 8352.6 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, source of the original theft.
